Who can become a member?

Organisations licensed by the Central Bank of the Congo: fintechs, PSPs, e-money institutions, banks, microfinance institutions. Individuals and other companies can join DFA for free as supporters.

Does DFA issue licences?

No. Licences and authorisations are issued by the competent authorities, first of all the BCC. DFA helps you understand the framework and carries the industry’s questions into the dialogue.

How much does membership cost?

Supporter status is free. For licensed organisations, dues depend on the category assigned; the team shares them when reviewing your application.

Does sending an application mean I’m admitted?

No. Admission depends on a review of your situation and the statutory rules. You get an instant acknowledgement, then an answer from the team.

Sponsors, speakers, members: what’s the difference?

Sponsoring Palabres Fintech, speaking, membership and strategic partnership are separate relationships. An institution can be a sponsor without being a member.
