Is it really free?
Yes. Supporter access, the library, the certificate and the newsletter are free, during the campaign and afterwards. Paid membership is for organisations that want to become full members.
Who can sign up?
Anyone, individual or company: students, lawyers, compliance teams, founders, banks, investors, journalists.
Are the English versions official?
No. They are unofficial translations prepared by DFA to make the texts easier to read. Only the French version is authoritative.
How does the referral challenge work?
Once you join, your member area shows your personal link and your counter. Each person who joins DFA through that link and confirms their email between 12 October and 11 November 2026 counts as one referral.
What does the reward include?
One year of Startup membership (US$100 dues) waived for your organisation, or for a startup you designate. DFA checks the referrals, then the team contacts you to complete admission under the statutes.
And after 11 November?
The library and Supporter access stay free. Only the referral challenge count stops.
